Senior dog/Medical concern

Being away from home can be more stressful for older dogs. Dogs love routines and changing their routine can be upsetting. Geriatric pets (10 years dependent on breed/size) are more likely to have underlying and unknown health problems. Boarding, especially if your dog has not been boarded before or boards infrequently, may cause these conditions to become apparent or worsen.

Red River K9 II aims to keep boarding as stress-free as possible for all dogs. Our suites are designed to make your pet feel at home and our outdoor play yard has additional fencing available to separate dogs based on size/temperament/age.

While we want your dog to be as happy and healthy as they are when they are at home. It is not uncommon for a dog (especially geriatric) to become stressed due to being away from home and loved ones along with being in a new environment with other dogs, new people, noises and smells. In the unfortunate event that your dog passes while in our care, we will make every effort to contact you as soon as possible.

I hereby release Red River K9 II and it’s employees from any liability, should a medical issue occur with my dog while in their care, and after returning home. *

In the unfortunate event that my dog passes while in the care of Red River K9 II I would like for my dog to be: *

Wrapped in a blanket and placed on their bed in their private kennel suite until I arrive to pick him/her up
Left exactly where and how they passed (even if it’s in the play yard)
Placed in a separate area from the other dogs wrapped in a blanket until I arrive to pick him/her up
